Kaiju Alpha Damage
Calculator DPS

Enter your kaiju's base attack, level, and target defense to get real DPS, single-hit damage, and how fast you can kill a 5K or 10K HP target. I built this tool to stop guessing which kaiju tier is actually worth the grind at each stage of progression.

TL;DR — Quick Facts
  • Each level adds 2% bonus damage. Level 50 nearly doubles base attack over Level 1.
  • Defense reduces damage by 30% of its raw value as flat mitigation per hit.
  • Legendary kaiju at Level 35 typically kills a 5K HP target in under 3 seconds (community estimate).
  • Use the preset buttons to quickly model Normal, Rare, Epic, and Legendary kaiju without typing anything.
  • All values are community-estimated. Official SULU KAKA formulas are not publicly documented.

Adjust the inputs below. The result panel updates immediately. Use the preset buttons to load typical values for each kaiju tier.

100 - 5000. Check your kaiju stat screen.
0.5 - 3.0. Higher = faster swing rate.
0 - 2000. Reduces 30% of its value as flat mitigation.
0 - 100%. Community-estimated values.
1.5 - 3.0. Multiplies crit hits.

How the math works (community-estimated formula):
level_bonus = 1 + (level - 1) × 0.02  • hit = max(1, base × level_bonus - defense × 0.3)
DPS = hit × atk_speed × (1 + crit% / 100 × (crit_mult - 1))
Time to kill uses ceil(HP / hit) / atk_speed. All values are community-estimated unless stated otherwise.

How to Use This Calculator

Three inputs matter most: base attack, level, and target defense. Crit values refine the DPS estimate but have less impact on single-hit comparisons.

Step 1 — Load a preset
Click one of the four tier preset buttons to start with realistic values for your current kaiju. Normal and Rare are for early-game comparisons; Epic and Legendary for mid to late progression.
Step 2 — Set your kaiju level
Drag the level slider to your current kaiju level. The percentage bonus shown next to it tells you exactly how much your base attack is being amplified by leveling.
Step 3 — Enter target defense
Check the boss or enemy kaiju stat screen for its Defense value. Leave it at 0 for undefended targets like training dummies or early-stage enemies.
Step 4 — Read the results
Single Hit Damage is what each attack does after mitigation. DPS accounts for attack speed and crits. Time to kill fields tell you how long a fight will last at sustained DPS.
Step 5 — Adjust crit stats
If you have unlocked crit-boosting passives or equipment, update the crit chance and multiplier fields. A 25% crit chance with a 2x multiplier adds roughly 25% to DPS over the base value.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is DPS calculated in Kaiju Alpha?

This calculator uses a community-estimated formula. Hit damage = max(1, base_attack x level_bonus - defense x 0.3). DPS = hit x attack_speed x (1 + crit_chance / 100 x (crit_multiplier - 1)). Level bonus grows 2% per level. Not officially confirmed by SULU KAKA.

Does defense reduce damage as a flat number or percentage in Kaiju Alpha?

Based on community testing, defense reduces each hit by approximately 30% of its raw value as a flat amount. So 1,000 defense subtracts around 300 from each hit. This is a community estimate and may not reflect the exact server calculation.

What does level bonus do to damage in Kaiju Alpha?

Each level above 1 adds 2% bonus damage to base attack. Level 25 deals 48% more than Level 1. Level 50 is approximately 98% more, nearly doubling damage before defense and crits apply. These are community-estimated scaling values.

How long does it take to kill a boss in Kaiju Alpha?

A Legendary Kaiju at Level 35 with default crit settings in this calculator produces around 2,400 DPS. A 10K HP boss would fall in approximately 4-5 seconds of sustained attacks, not counting boss defense. Enter the boss defense value in the Target Defense field for a more accurate estimate.

Are these damage numbers accurate to the real Kaiju Alpha game?

These are community-estimated formulas based on observable gameplay, not official server-side values. Use them to compare kaiju tiers and levels relative to each other. The absolute numbers may differ from what you see in actual fights.
