Tick what you have unlocked, say how busy the server is, and the list reorders. The scores are relative, not cells per hour. Nobody has published a cells per hour figure that survives checking, and inventing one would be worse than useless here.
Cells are the currency you spend to unlock kaiju, and they come out of damaging other players. Every hit that lands on another kaiju pays something, and a kill pays a lump on top of it. One creator puts the kill payout somewhere in the range of 200 to 500, which is his own estimate rather than a published number, so treat it as an order of magnitude rather than a rate you can budget against.
The detail that changes how you play is the assist rule. If you damage a kaiju and somebody else lands the finishing blow, you still collect the cells and the experience. That is not a reading of patch notes, it is filmed: one creator narrates it happening while the counter moves. Once you know that, the optimal behaviour stops being duelling and starts being coverage. Touch as many kaiju as you can and let the server sort out who finishes them.
This is also why a cell farming ranking and a combat ranking disagree, and should. The boss-fight notes on this site's Monster Zero page call it a poor pick, because its output is spread rather than concentrated and a boss is one target. That same property is what puts it near the top here. If a kaiju looks mediocre on the tier list but strong in the tool above, that gap is the point rather than an error.
Which is why the roster splits the way it does. A kaiju with two long beams converts one position into damage on a whole fight. A kaiju with fast, weak attacks converts a dogpile into a stream of assists. A kaiju with neither has to walk into the middle of the mess and swing, which works, but it is the slow road, and creators say so plainly.
None of these are exotic. They are the things creators stop mid-video to warn about during a cell farming run, and each one quietly costs a chunk of a cell farming session.
This is the table the tool above reads from. Reach is how far and how wide the damage lands, rate is how often it can be reapplied, and risk is how reliably the rest of the server decides to come and deal with you. All three are scored 0 to 3 as my own ordinal reading of recorded play, which is the honest description of what they are.
| Kaiju | Reach | Rate | Risk | Best for | Not ideal for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Heisei Godzilla | 3 | 2 | 1 | Two beams with enough range to hit a fight from outside it. Creators park on high ground and shoot down into the pile. | Servers with only two or three players, where there is no pile to shoot into. |
| Shin Godzilla | 3 | 2 | 1 | Back beam and tail beam cover different angles, so a single position can cover a spawn area. | Chasing individual runners. The value is in static crowds, not duels. |
| Godzilla 2000 | 3 | 2 | 3 | Atomic breath spam into crowds. Long reach, but it makes you visible. | Open sightlines. Creators warn that farming it out in the open gets you hunted. |
| Monster Zero | 2 | 3 | 3 | Charge voltage to unlock the fifth move, then keep it cycling. One creator hit level 63 in a few days on it. | Players who cannot afford to be focused. It gets teamed on constantly. |
| Destoroyah Final Form | 2 | 3 | 2 | Fast repeat damage rather than one big hit, which suits sustained contact with a group. | Anyone still saving up. It sits behind one of the larger cell walls in the game. |
| SpaceGodzilla | 2 | 2 | 1 | Crystal Garden then detonate, or pull a group in first and then detonate. Setup cost, big payoff on a cluster. | Fights that move. The setup wants targets that stay put for a moment. |
| Shimo | 2 | 2 | 1 | Kills charge Sky Blast, which then discharges into whatever is nearby. Rewards staying in the fight. | Cold starts. It needs a first kill before the payoff loop opens. |
| Mecha Godzilla 2021 | 1 | 3 | 1 | Damage per hit is unremarkable, but the hits keep coming, which adds up inside a dogpile. | Sniping from range. You have to be in the mess for this to pay. |
| Jet Jaguar Beta | 1 | 3 | 1 | One creator's own words are that the damage is bad and the attack rate is what carries it, which only pays off with a dogpile to apply it to. | Quiet servers. Without a dogpile the low damage has nothing to compensate for it. |
| Kong | 0 | 2 | 2 | No beam at all. The only route is finding a chaotic server and meleeing into the pile. | Almost every farming session. Creators name it as the case where you are working harder for less. |
Searching for this topic turns up three different names for what looks like one currency, and the confusion is doing real damage to the guides out there. Players and creators inside the game today say cells. U-cells comes from a fan wiki started in 2022, which documents an earlier version of this game that was taken down and later rereleased. That wiki is still up, deliberately, because its editors keep legacy pages for preservation, and its own U-cells entry now carries a banner saying the content has been removed from the game. G-cells belong to Kaiju Universe, a separate Roblox game, and at least one creator catches himself mixing the two up mid-video.
That third one explains the biggest piece of misinformation on this topic. Several sites will tell you to do your cell farming by destroying buildings, and rate kaiju by a destruction-per-second figure. Destroying buildings for currency is a real mechanic, it is just a real mechanic in Kaiju Universe, where G-cells work that way. Somewhere along the line it got copied across to pages about this game, where nothing in any recorded session supports it. If a guide leads with building routes, that is a decent sign it was assembled from the wrong game.
If you landed here from a search for U-cells, you are in the right place. This site also has an older cell farming rate calculator that uses the U-cell wording, and works out how long a given cell farming session takes to reach an unlock target. This page answers the question one step earlier: what should you be sitting in the server as.
Six recorded gameplay sessions from three creators, listed below. I watched for the mechanic rather than the opinions, and where creators disagreed with each other I say so on the page instead of picking one.
Three things I went looking for and did not find. There is no published formula for cells per point of damage, so nothing on this page claims one. A doubled cell rate clearly exists, because a creator mentions cell farming under it, but no source explains whether that comes from a gamepass, an event or something else, so I am not going to tell you how to get it. And while the building-destruction story now has a plausible origin in a different game, I still cannot rule out that buildings pay something here. If you have a recording that shows buildings paying cells, the contact page is open and this section gets rewritten.
There is no single answer that holds for every session, which is why the tool on this page asks about your server first. Across recorded gameplay the name that comes up most for players who are still building up is Heisei Godzilla, because two long beams let you hit a fight from outside it. For players deep enough to have it, Monster Zero is the one creators call the fastest, with the caveat that it gets teamed on constantly. Worth knowing that this site's own boss-fight notes rate Monster Zero as a poor pick, which is not a contradiction: a kit that spreads damage across a crowd is exactly the kit that underperforms in a one-on-one boss encounter.
Cells come from damaging other players' kaiju. Landing hits pays, and kills pay a lump on top, with one creator putting the kill range at roughly 200 to 500 cells. The part most guides leave out is that you do not need the kill. If you damage a kaiju and somebody else finishes it, you still receive the cells and the experience. That is shown on camera rather than inferred.
Not that anyone has been able to demonstrate. Several sites describe building destruction routes and a destruction-per-second stat as the core of cell farming, but none of the six recorded gameplay sessions behind this page mention buildings once. Every one of them is about damaging players. The likely explanation is that the mechanic is real in Kaiju Universe, a different Roblox game where the equivalent currency does come partly from destroying buildings, and it got copied across. If buildings pay anything here, nobody has filmed it.
Cell farming rewards coverage. Get into the busiest server you can find, then apply damage to as many kaiju as possible rather than chasing one target down. Because assists pay in full, spraying a crowd beats duelling. Which kaiju does that best changes with the crowd: long beams win on thin servers, fast repeat attacks win inside a dogpile.
For output, yes. Atomic breath spam reaches a long way into a crowd. The problem is attention. Creators specifically warn that cell farming with it out in the open gets you hunted, so the advice attached to it is always to break line of sight between engagements. What they do not agree on is why people come for you, so this page does not guess at a motive. It ranks lower in this tool if you tell it you would rather not be focused down.
There is a known state where cells and experience quietly stop accruing even though you are still landing hits. The fix creators give is simply rejoining the server. It is worth checking your counter every so often, because nothing on screen tells you it has happened.
