Every Kaiju Alpha update documented in reverse chronological order. I add each entry within 4-12 hours of the patch going live — usually the same session I test the changes. Bookmark this page and check back after any major update.
SULU KAKA's official patch notes are posted to their Discord server and sometimes to the Roblox game description. They tell you what was changed — new forms, balance adjustments, bug fixes. What they don't tell you is whether those changes actually matter for the meta, how significant a "buff" or "adjustment" is in practice, or whether the change introduces any unintended side effects.
That's what I add in the "Meta Impact" and "My Take" sections of each entry below. I test the changes the same session they drop — sometimes before I finish reading the patch notes — and record what I observe. When I haven't had enough time to test something properly, I say so explicitly rather than guessing.
You can also check the current tier list which I update alongside major patches, and the damage comparison tool which reflects post-patch DPS values as I verify them.
Each entry below covers the official patch changes, my assessment of meta impact, and a personal take from in-game testing. I flag where my testing time was limited.
I tested Mothra Larvae for about 2 hours on the day it dropped. Interesting AoE coverage but the DPS ceiling sits clearly below Suko. I'd place it mid-B tier on first impression — not something I'd invest U-cells in unless you specifically want AoE coverage. Updated the tier list to reflect this.
Small patch, necessary. The code redemption bug was annoying — I hit it once on a LIKE1500 redemption attempt. Confirmed fixed post-patch.
I've spent the most time on this update — it's what the game launched with for me. My full analysis is in the tier list. The Form 4 addition is significant; the Godzilla 1955 adjustment was quiet but real. Several community guides are still calling 1955 an A tier pick — it isn't post-Update 24.
I monitor three sources for Kaiju Alpha updates: the official SULU KAKA Discord server (#patch-notes channel), the Roblox game description, and my own in-game session notes. I check Discord at the start and end of every play session — usually once in the morning and once in the evening Sydney time (AEST UTC+10).
The target is 4-12 hours from patch live to page update. In practice I've hit that window for both Update 25 and the 24.1 hotfix — Update 25 dropped at roughly 14:00 AEST on May 14 and I had the entry up by 20:00. The 12-hour ceiling is for patches that drop late at night or when I'm not near my machine.
I distinguish between "tested" (I ran it myself, have numbers) and "noted from patch notes / Discord" (official but unverified by me). In the entries above, the "Changes" list contains both — parenthetical notes indicate which category each item falls into. The "My Take" sections are always personal testing only.
If something in the official patch notes contradicts what I observe in testing, I report both and flag the discrepancy. The Destoroyah Form 4 burst cooldown from Update 24 is a good example: SULU KAKA listed it as "adjusted" without a specific value. I measured a meaningful improvement in my burst window timing tests, so I documented it as an observed improvement rather than a precise number I don't have.
Server-side balance changes that aren't announced. SULU KAKA occasionally adjusts values without updating the official notes — I can only catch these if I happen to test the affected system before and after. If you notice a change that isn't reflected here, send it via the contact page with before/after evidence and I'll investigate and update the log.
The most recent update is Update 25 (May 14, 2026): Mothra Larvae form added (B tier), arena matchmaking brackets narrowed to ±3 levels, Breach Point XP respawn extended slightly, and XP Surge cost cut ~15%. Full entry with my meta assessment is above.
Based on my tracking since May 10, SULU KAKA has pushed updates roughly every 3-5 days. Update 24 dropped on May 10, a hotfix on May 12, and Update 25 on May 14. Active early-lifecycle games on Roblox typically maintain this cadence for the first few months.
One confirmed issue: the arena bracket change temporarily matched level 10-15 players against higher-level opponents for ~2 hours post-patch. SULU KAKA pushed a same-day hotfix to narrow the window. No other gameplay-breaking issues confirmed from my testing.
Bookmark this page — I update within 4-12 hours of each release. The official SULU KAKA Discord has raw patch notes first, but this log adds meta impact and in-game testing notes.
